Fleurette Art

Original impressionist oil paintings of Hawaii

by Monique Jeannine Levitt

When I am bewildered, I find refuge in the world of my creation.

Poets create worlds with words.  Fleurette creates with paint.

As a young child, Jeannine Levitt learned the time-honored art of painting flowers, thus earning her the name Fleurette.

As one of Hawaii’s favorite Impressionist painters, she attributes her love of painting to her love of nature.  Her highly textured canvases capture the magnificent landscapes that are rapidly disappearing as towns sprawl outward into the countryside. The awe-inspiring beauty and power of the sea, in conjunction with the majesty of the mountains stirred the artist to create new works focusing on the spiritual and emotive aspects of the landscape.  Fleurette hopes her work will inspire an appreciation for the unspoiled beauty that still defines Hawaii before it is lost forever.

They are expressions of an inner world of beauty and a deep appreciation for nature.

We invite you to experience the beauty that is Fleurette.
